I do a lot of driving and do a lot of thinking.  What I thought about was...I love breakfast.  I could eat it at every meal.  It was then and there that I would go on the hunt for the best Breakfast Burrito around.  I will first start in and around Houston (although when out of town, will find and rate them).

There won't be some sort of baseline by which to base the burrito.  It is all about taste, temperature (served hot) and fresh ingredients...period.  You don't have to have a burrito loaded with everything including the kitchen sink to be good.   Now don't get me wrong, I want burritos with everything in them, so those will be eaten too.  There are the simple burritos, loaded burritos, and then those out there doing a fusion burrito.  And it doesn't matter if it is in a small donut shop, big restaurant or a food truck.

My first breakfast burrito that I like is from Riley's Donuts, 1113 Clear Lake City Blvd, Houston, TX  77062.  I love their sausage, egg and cheese or the bacon, egg and cheese.  These are basic simple burritos, but they are got and all ingredients are fresh and hand made every day.  Not only are the burritos good, but Mel, the owner, remembers every customer and relationships is the basis for a great business.
